Day 9, Mile 9.3 I spent the morning with Mike at the Luth Metro Ministries Men's Shelter serving 1100 meals/day, providing shelter and care for 375 men daily.

Pastor Bill Geis' 650 mile bike tour focuses on the need for Christian ministry in Great Lakes urban areas. It begins July 10 in Milwaukee. From Milwaukee, Pastor Bill bikes on to Chicago, Gary, Detroit and Cleveland ending on July 18. The tour is aims to raise awareness of ministry needs in urban areas, to encourage those in the field, and to learn how suburban ministries can connect with needs of our cities.
